WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene)
Objective: To provide access to clean water, adequate sanitation, and hygiene education in rural schools and communities, thereby reducing waterborne diseases and promoting health and well-being.
Water Projects:
- Construct and rehabilitate boreholes, wells, and rainwater harvesting systems to provide reliable access to clean water.
- Install water purification systems and promote safe water storage practices.

Sanitation Facilities:
- Build gender-segregated, safe, and hygienic toilet facilities in schools and communities.
- Promote the use of eco-friendly sanitation solutions, such as composting toilets, where appropriate.
Hygiene Education:
- Conduct hygiene training sessions for students, teachers, and community members.
- Implement programs focused on hand washing, menstrual hygiene management, and safe water handling practices.
Community Involvement:
- Establish WASH committees in schools and communities to manage and maintain facilities.
- Collaborate with local leaders, parents, and other stakeholders to promote the importance of hygiene and sanitation.
Impact Goals:
- Reduce absenteeism and dropout rates caused by waterborne diseases and inadequate sanitation.
- Improve health and well-being of students and community members.
- Increase community awareness and practice of good hygiene and sanitation.
